Our Next Meeting is:
Tuesday 7th April 2020
Bradford Sands
are a local support group who can offer emotional support and practical help if your baby9 has died during pregnancy, at birth or shortly afterwards.
In the UK, 17 babies a day die. Eleven of these are stillbirths and six are neonatal deaths. The number covers any loss from 24 weeks of pregnancy to within 28 days of birth. Bradford Sands provides help and support to bereaved parents and families who have suffered the death of a baby. This support is provided free of charge and is open to all bereaved parents, their families and friends, no matter how long ago the loss occurred.
Our friendly and relaxed meetings are an opportunity for anyone who has been affected with a loss of a baby to meet with others who have been through a similar experience, to share their stories, memories and support.
We work closely with the hospital in our area to help provide the best possible care for families when a baby dies.
Please come along to one of our meetings or contact us by phone or email.
The Bradford Sands will help you find lots of help and support including our Sands Resources page, on our In Memory Of page you can submit your Angels details. Also keep up-to date with events and the very latest news on our Bradford Sands News page.
Bradford Sands are part of Sands UK- a network of local groups operating under Charity registration number 299679
